I'm opening up my heart to you today and talking about something that I deal with all the time...self doubt.

I’ve been on an inquiry of what self doubt is and why it seems to be a constant companion of mine.  I know I’m not alone. 

I’ve talked to hundreds of lightworkers in sessions and in my master courses and it seems that many of us have to deal with self doubt.

Self Doubt Detour

Self doubt lead me on a 10 year detour.  It was easier for me, at that time, to simply follow someone else’s dream instead of listening to my own.  

At the end of that detour I was working at Agape International Spiritual Center as the assistant to the music and arts ministry with Rickie Byars Beckwith.

One Wednesday night service Serrano Kelley came to speak and asked a simple question.  What have you been putting on the back burner of your life?   I saw immediately that I had been avoiding getting my kids songs into Elementary schools and deciding to jump into playing ‘The Game’.  The Game was his 90 day process of getting into action with a partner and most of the Agape community played it at the same time.

Shortly thereafter I stepped out on my own as a musician and a spiritual mentor. 

O my goodness, being in partnership with Spirit and running my own biz ... self doubt would take me out of action for days at a time. 

Can you relate?

But I’ve always had this desire to create and produce so I kept going. Since that time I’ve created a lot of things...6 CDs of original sacred songs, I started teaching Master courses on the Company of Heaven, which has turned into a full time thriving Academy.  

Mother Mary became my sponsor for Ascension and started flowing her message of  empowered abundance  for Lightworkers through me ..Our first book is 21 Days to Abundance through the Immaculate Heart of Mother Mary.

In Lesson 8 I asked Mother Mary “What is self-doubt and what can we do about it?”

This is what she says.

"Beloved self doubt is what keeps most Lightworkers in lack.

There are layers and layers of self doubt laid on top of one another in most individuals.  It’s the undercurrent of all feelings of low self esteem and unworthiness.  

It began when you believed that something outside of you was real.  It may have been a manipulation of thoughtless words that you believed to be true.  It could’ve been as simple as a warning of danger when you were a small child which taught you not to trust your own instincts and guidance.  

Many of you were taught to believe that God disapproved of you.  You
started to think something was fundamentally wrong with you.

It is a high priority to dissolve now.  Self doubt takes your power away and you forget who you are. “

Mother Mary has helped me realize that it’s a form of resistance that shows up whenever I’m taking a risk and trying something new.  I call it walking out on the skinny branches.

What's my most effective affirmation when I get caught in self-doubt?

I believe in my self and I have faith. I have faith that God is using me in the highest capacity that I can serve.
